This Illinois Department of Transportation project consisted of 2.9 miles of resurfacing Halsted Street which is located in Chicago Heights and Glenwood. The project was held to the strict pay for performance specifications which incorporated the use of a material transfer device along with consistent asphalt production. Work included 2.5" milling of the existing pavement, patching of failed pavement areas, ¾" average Poly Level Binder N50, pay for performance 1 ¾" Poly Surface Mix F N90, and concluded with fresh Thermoplastic Pavement Marking.
