Jefferson Street in Joliet, Illinois was an Illinois Department of Transportation project which consisted of curb and gutter removal and replacement, various patching items, grinding of the existing pavement, overlaying the pavement with an N50 asphaltic level binder, N90 surface course of asphaltic material and storm sewer cleaning and striping. Gallagher was given only 35 days to complete the project, but the biggest challenge was the enormous amount of vehicular traffic.
