The Illinois Department of Transportation project was a pay for performance project that utilized not only traditional paving equipment such as paver, rollers but also included a material transfer device for placement of the asphaltic material. The project included grinding of the existing pavement, patching the pavement and asphalt paving with an N50 Poly Level Binder and N50 asphaltic surface course and striping.
